We all want to be a part of something larger than ourselves.  This is why we join a team; we are social animals.

At a local event, it dawned on me I am helping businesses in the Midwest grow but how am I helping out our country as a whole? Am I making a impact? It occurred to me that to do this we as business owners need to influence people we will never meet.   How you ask?

Here are 3 things you can do to become a global industry leader and influence people you will never meet.

  1. Start a social media schedule-  Worldwide, there are over 1.79 billion monthly active Facebook users (Facebook MAUs) which is a 16 percent increase year over year. (Source: Facebook as of 11/02/16) What this means for you: In case you had any lingering doubts, statistically, Facebook is too big to ignore.
  2. Build a welcoming website-  Launching a website puts in the running for global business. Allowing you to expand your clientele to a much larger audience. Your web site is visible in almost every country around the globe, and that means you expand your potential client base by millions.
  3. Collect and Send-  Collect email address and send out informational newsletters.  Be the expert with all of the facts. Using content that’s relevant or useful or otherwise entertaining to your particular audience or customers is really just a great way to keep your business top-of-mind and help build connections with people. And that will serve you when the time comes that they are looking to buy something your company offers or something your nonprofit organization does.  Click here to sign up for a 60 day free email trial
